Our Programs

NSILC offers programs that support individuals with disabilities in learning and developing skills. NSILC provides an array of programs such as employment, literacy and support services. All are geared towards providing individuals with disabilities with the independence they need to fully integrate and participate in their communities.

EDP recognizes that entrepreneurs with disabilities have special needs. It ensures easy access to business services and other support mechanisms needed to consider self-employment as a viable option. More Information >

The Information and Referral Program provides a vast array of information on a number of topics including Community Services, Accessible & Affordable Housing, Employment, IL Skills and Entrepreneurship. More Information >

The Peer Support Program provides opportunities to persons with disabilities to share information, ideas and experiences with others and promote “Independent Living” through peer interaction. More Information >

Workshops include a variety of topics depending on the needs of the group (ex/time management, self-awareness, personal change, problem-solving, etc.). More Information >

Research and Development tries to identify areas where there are gaps in programs and services to identify met needs in the community. More Information >
