Sales Coordinator, Part-Time 1 year contract

The Sales Coordinator will focus on Employer Outreach for Accessible Career Connections (ACC). The ACC Program is an employment services program focused on aiding men and women with disabilities or health conditions find temporary or permanent employment.  This requires initiating contact with potential employers, building and maintaining employer relationships, gaining employer’s commitment to the program, and aiding job seekers with successful employment.The Sales Coordinator is required to initiate contact with employers in person or by phone or email with in person follow up meeting(s). The Coordinator will need to acquire and build positive relationships with potential employer partners to maximize the opportunities available to ACC’s job seekers.

The Sales Coordinator’s secondary responsibly is to solicit businesses to purchase yearly advertisements in NSILC’s monthly newsletter. The Coordinator is responsible for seeking ongoing commitment from businesses such as coffee shops, restaurants, or offices around Saskatoon to become delivery locations. The Coordinator is responsible for delivering the newsletter to locations across Saskatoon at the beginning of each month. With the advertisement sales, the Coordinator will be responsible to create and maintain contract agreements between NSILC and the advertising sponsors as well verbal agreements between NSILC and the delivery locations. Maintain monthly progress updates to the Executive Director and the businesses involved with purchasing advertising space in the publication.

Required:

3-5 years of Sales Experience

Access to regular personal transportation

- Have your drivers licence and regular access to a vehicle.
- Are a self-starter that works well independently within a team.

The Coordinator must maintain in-depth understanding of the North Saskatchewan Independent Living Centre Inc. (NSILC), its operating policies, guidelines, procedures and precedents, and be able to advise consumers as to programs and services offered by the centre and make referrals to appropriate community organizations.

The Coordinator will be working 2 days a week, 30 hours bi-weekly. Starting April 1, 2019 until March 31, 2020. Working primarily out in the community, mileage will be reimbursed, and from the North Saskatchewan Independent Living Centre (NSILC) Office.
