The North Saskatchewan Independent Living Centre is a non-profit, charitable, community based corporation. NSILC started in 1991 and is one of the 25 such centres across Canada that promotes the independence of people with disabilities. NSILC promotes the integration of people with disabilities and has a minimum of 51% of the people directly involved in the management and decision making have a disability of some kind.
There are many programs, resources and services that we have to offer regardless of the disability. NSILC receives funding from the Federal Government, donations, fundraising and grants. So drop in and enjoy a coffee and have a chat with one of the staff, who always have the time to meet with new people.
